Funding Programs and Government Grants

Everyone believes there should be grants and loans to help new business get started. So do we – after all, the growth of small local business is proven to be the greatest source of local wealth and economic development.  The best FREE lists of current inventory and links for Business and Community funding programs in Ontario we have found are:

Unfortunately, even though there are a long list of funding programs, most are very specialized grants so most new businesses do not qualify for any of the programs. From time to time, the Perth Community Futures does offer small grants for Community Economic Development Projects.
